Xerox will be ready for Windows 7. Actually, they already are.

Xerox Release New Printer DriversCompatibility in our world of ever changing technology can be a big obstacle for an expanding business wanting to benefit from the new technology available now and that will also be available in the future.

It is mainly Microsoft who introduces the technology and companies who encounter the compatibility problems, with the introduction of Windows Vista over 3 years ago there are still many companies that are still using Windows XP as all there office equipment is not compatible with Windows Vista.

For those who have Vista, the future hardware/sofware in development is designed to run on the 64 bit version of the operating system and so the compatibility sprial spins out of control yet again.

Xerox are already well aware of this and in preperation for the imminent arrival of Microsoft Windows 7 Xerox have already realeased the Xerox Global Print Driver and the Mobile Express Driver.

Xerox Global Print Driver

The Xerox Global Print Driver significantly reduces IT involvement and eliminates the need to download individual printer drivers for each product. This truly universal printer driver lets users print to virtually any printer or multifunction printer—even to those made by other manufacturers.

Mobile Express Driver

The Xerox Mobile Express Driver is ideal for people who travel or work in multiple locations. It largely eliminates the need to download individual printer drivers for each product to which you print. Instead, download a single universal printer driver to your PC and print to virtually any PostScript device on your network, even to those made by other manufacturers.

Xerox Printer customers wanted a print driver that evolves as new products and new versions of operating systems launch. The new Xerox Global Print Driver and Mobile Express Driver offers a solution to this problem so you dont have to worry about it.

So if you are thinking of moving to Microsoft Windows 7 and you have a Xerox Printer the only thing you need to worry about is when you need it, not if it is going to be compatible with your current set up.
